The Manager of Marketing Systems & Data is a senior leader capable of taking a pragmatic view of business and technology, to drive ROI across individual systems while increasing profitability for the firm. This role will serve as a service provider to both the Business Development & Marketing department and the firm as a whole, as both a collaborative resource and driver of innovation. The Manager is responsible for ensuring marketing technology and the marketing technology team operate as efficient and accurate stewards of technology to the firm. A core responsibility is the CRM or Client Relationship Management system which requires both systems knowledge and strong data analysis skills. An important part of that system is the firm’s Experience tracking database which is essential to our ability to drive new revenue. The person in this role must be interested in, and skilled at, managing data so they can lead the way with a data driven strategy at the firm.
As all lawyers at the firm use the CRM system, a strong aptitude for customer service and an understanding of professional services organizations (like large law firms) is important to success. Further critical to success will be the ability to collaborate with others during the development of new strategies, features/system enhancements, and processes.
