The person in this role will assist with executing a broad range of PR initiatives to advance the firm’s strategic objectives, core sectors, and departments nationwide. Day-to-day responsibilities will focus on media relations activities, posting news to the firm website, and helping to manage award opportunities in legal and business trades that support increased visibility and recognition for the firm and its lawyers.

  • Assist with leading the direction of outside agencies to execute media relations initiatives consistent with the firm's strategy and business goals.
  • Support the project management of firmwide award opportunities by managing an editorial calendar with submission deadlines to ensure timely completion of submissions; help communicate timing, vet new opportunities, and submit final nominations via publication portals.
  • Draft and edit certain award nominations with attorney candidates highlighting relevant experience and key supporting information in a compelling and persuasive manner.
  • Assist with creating and maintaining best practices and process documents for award nominations. Act as a resource for that information.
  • Maintain trackers for media and award opportunities and promoted deals and wins for quarterly and annual reporting to showcase results on key and drive future strategy.
