Foley & Lardner LLP’s Milwaukee office has an excellent opportunity for a Paralegal to join our Business Law team. This individual will provide direct assistance for our clients and attorneys in all aspects of estate planning, estate administration, and trust administration.  The ideal candidate will work independently and as part of a team, with the ability to manage multiple timelines with minimum supervision, and will need to possess excellent oral and written communication skills. 

Responsibilities

  • Prepare estate planning and probate documents
  • Assist with estate and trust administrations
  • Attend client meetings and maintain frequent client contact for administration matters
  • Prepare financial statements, accountings, schedules, and Excel model analyses
  • Prepare fiduciary, estate and gift tax returns
  • Consistently achieve 1650 billable hour requirement (including approved non-billable time)

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED required; Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration or paralegal certificate from an ABA approved paralegal program preferred
  • Minimum of one (1) year of relevant Paralegal or estate/trust planning and/or administration experience required
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel preferred
  • Experience with tax preparation software a plus
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Flexible work hours as required by deadlines #LI-Onsite

In support of transparency and equity in the workplace, Foley provides salary ranges for all positions. The figures below represent the full compensation range of this position. The actual offered amount will be between the range minimum and midpoint based on the following factors: education, experience, geographic market, and internal pay equity at Foley.

Milwaukee - $62,100 to $86,900
