Foley & Lardner is searching for Legal Recruiting Interns who will play an integral role in supporting the Legal Recruiting team in law school hiring and the summer associate program. The interns will have primary responsibility for day-to-day administrative tasks such as data entry, running reports, preparing resume packets, tracking event responses, and preparing nametags. The interns will also assist with special projects and event planning, as needed. These positions may be located in Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Milwaukee, or Washington, DC and the internship will run from May to August.  

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the firm’s Legal Recruiting team across multiple offices
  • Assist with summer associate program and student recruiting initiatives
  • Reserve conference rooms, create and distribute event invitations; track event RSVPs; prepare event nametags; help coordinate logistics for video conference or in-person meetings
  • Help coordinate firm-sponsored social recruiting events as needed
  • Assist with the national training programs for summer associates
  • Prepare resume packets
  • Input summer associate projects into the work allocation database
  • Enter interview schedules into the applicant tracking database and run evaluation reports
  • Input and organize candidate application data in applicant tracking database
  • Compile various reports as needed
  • Collaborate on special projects as assigned throughout the summer

Qualifications

  • HS Diploma or GED required, Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • A minimum of six (6) months experience in a legal or professional services office environment preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel), Adobe Acrobat Pro 
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask

Pursuant to pay transparency laws the anticipated hourly rate for this role is $20-$22 dollars per hour.
