Foley and Lardner, LLP is looking for a litigation paralegal with excellent research and analytical skills, for our busy Construction Defects department. The Litigation Paralegal I will focus on pre-suit matters including the investigation and case development, mediation, and arbitration. The ideal candidate will have high-level attention to detail skills, as well as strong time management abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Handle case intake; researching property records, providing pertinent details to docketing, updating database with claim info
  • Monitor Arbitration filings inbox to relay deadlines to docketing
  • Communicate priority issues to attorneys and paralegals
  • Submit Process Server and Expert invoices in Chrome River
  • Handle AAA invoices
  • Update claims database
  • Other miscellaneous tasks and meet daily deadlines

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's Degree or paralegal certificate from an ABA approved paralegal program preferred
  • Prior Paralegal or assistant experience preferred
  • Prior administrative or clerical experience preferred
